MAC Automation Concepts Limited Warranty:

Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. warrants that all products manufactured by it to be free of defects in workmanship and materials when used under normal operating conditions. Use or service with abrasive or corrosive chemicals or materials or in a corrosive or abrasive atmosphere shall not be deemed normal. This warranty shall be in effect for a period of twenty-four months from date of purchase. Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. obligations under this warranty are limited to repairing making repairs at our Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. Factory or furnishing a replacement for any part, or correcting any workmanship, which shall be demonstrated to Molding Automations Concepts, Inc. satisfaction to have been defective at the time of delivery and with respect to which a written claim specifying the particular within two (2) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

No other warranty, whether expressed or implied (including any warranty of merchantability or fitness), shall exist in connection with the sale or use of any Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. product.

Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. liability under this warranty shall be solely limited to repair or replacement of Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. products within the warranty period and Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. shall not be liable, under any circumstances for any consequential, incidental, direct, special, indirect damage or expenses associated with warranty products including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing liability for loss production, or any damage to persons or property.

Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. does not warrant equipment manufactured by others, but will submit the manufacturer’s warranty to purchase upon request.

Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. will make no allowances for repairs, alterations or other work done unless specifically agreed to in writing. Purchaser agrees that purchaser’s sole remedy for liability of any kind, including negligence with respect to the equipment and services furnished by Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. shall be limited to remedies provided herein.

Product Return:

  • MAC Automation Concepts is responsible only for the quality of materials and workmanship.
  • Items returned for credit are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee depending on condition received.
  • Items that have been used can not be returned.
  • You must contact our office for a Return Authorization Number. (815-337-3000)
  • Items returned without prior authorization will be refused.
  • All shipping charges are sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Additional change charges will apply for any item alteration made to an order once it has been accepted.
  • Custom items cannot be returned.

Shipping:

Softgood items and small parts are shipped free of charge.

Shipping for Resin Bins is as follows:
  • Shipment of equipment is generally fully carted and/or skid mounted. NOTE: This depends upon size and quantity of order.
  • Purchaser is responsible for inspecting shipment when receiving and for filing any and all claims for damage in shipment in a timely manner.
  • Customer is responsible for providing MAC with the name and phone number of the common carrier who will pick-up and deliver this order. MAC will then Ship Via "Your Carrier of Choice" - Freight Collect.
  • If no carrier is specified with the order, MAC will Ship Via Custom Carriers at (708) 333-8888. If you do not have an existing account with Custom Carriers, they will extend our freight discount to you and bill you directly. If you already have an account in good standing with Custom Carrier, they will bill you at the deeper of the two discounts.
  • Pre-pay and Add shipments are only accepted if approved by MAC at time of order. Charges for Pre-pay and Add shipments will include a 10% surcharge in addition to the actual freight cost.

Taxes:

  • Taxes will charged to following states: Illinois and California
  • Tax exempt numbers must be entered at the time of purchase, a hard copy must then be faxed to our office at 815-337-3020 Attn: Accounts Receivable.

Prices:

Prices are subject to change without notice. This site lists the most current and up to date prices.

General Notes:

  • Molding Automation Concepts, Inc. (MAC) is not responsible for interfacing with existing machinery.
  • Customer changes and revisions may add to lead time.
  • Some on site assembly may be required and is not included in the price.
  • Cancellation charge before shipment consists of in-process materials and labor. After shipment please see above policies.
