The Quick Change Rail System provides simple, low-cost automation directly under the press or beside the press with a family of interchangeable components. Including Parts Blowing, Parts Vacuum, Front to Rear Sorter, as well as conveyors and simple standard parts chutes and Parts Drop Trays. Also available are indexing and reversing packages, automatic reject sorting and box filling, periodic or manual QC sampling. All components are also available free standing. The Patent Pending Quick Change Rail Attachment System mounts directly under the press and provides for quick installation and quick removal.The system is most applicable on presses of small to medium tonnage, usually 300 tons maximum, but we welcome unique opportunities.

The Quick Change Rails Systems currently utilizes an LPA series conveyor (MAC TRAC 100) as the standard. For harsh duty or working environment, we recommend the SFA series. Horizontal to Incline is available in this series when more elevation is necessary outside the press. Parts containment kit (QCPC) is offered to allow the end user to tailor fit their own containment systems.

Quick Change Rail Attachment: Two models are available QCRA1 and QCRA2, These models are similar, with the exception being the lengths of material offered. Either 36” or 48” press depths. This is a low cost mounting package when further automation expansion of LPA’s with shuttling of the conveyor is not required.

Quick Change Rail System: Offered in custom sizes only. This is similar to the QCRA with the exception that cam followers are used to support the LPA or SFA series conveyor with accessories to allow the use of either large conveyors or the addition of control packages which permit the conveyors physical movement to be automated.

This modular design allows for fast changes and/or additions. A customer may begin with a simple parts containment chute and then may upgrade to a front to rear sorter or a belt conveyor outfitted with a reversing package. A customer may dress the presses with attachment equipment to cover a wide range of tools to be run in the machines or they may tailor the process to each tool. This system allows the flexibility. This type of system may be tied to other components to create flexible, yet custom equipment, tailored to their process needs.
